Our Baby Bud classroom is the next best thing to being home with you “the parent”. We provide your little babies with a very caring and loving atmosphere. Your baby will spend the day being talked to, played with and cuddled. Sign language, colors and art are incorporated into their day. We here at the Growing Tree want what is best for your little baby just like you want. So we offer that home away from home feeling for both you and your baby. We offer you the opportunity to visit and observe our wonderful Baby Bud classroom so you can see what we mean.

Our Rose Blossoms are ready for their first discoveries. In this classroom your little ones will have a fun active day. We will provide both individual attention as well as a lot of group activities that we help stimulate them through their day here with us. Whether it be dancing around catching bubbles, finger painting, exploring the outside playground or just learning how to feed themselves. Their day will be nonstop with great discoveries!

Our Little Acorns are very active and always on the move, so we have designed this classroom for all day enjoyment. We will focus on comprehension of language, self expression and self help skills. Along with story time, dancing, playing outside, art and fitness just to name a few. These activities will help your little one have a happy and fun filled day.

Cheerful Cherries 2-2.5 years

Our Cheerful Cherries are one inquisitive group of children. They are imaginative, friendly and very loving children with tons of energy. You will find them expressing their creative sides by dancing, signing, doing crafts, & even playing dress up. They will learn their ABC & 123’s, and of course they will run around outside on our playground to work out all their energy. You can even catch them doing a science experiment! Nothing stops The Cheerful Cherries from having a good time during the day!

Our Wonderful Willows are curious, adventurous and nothing is going to get in their way. This room is the “me do” room where you will find we focus on a lot of self-help because they tend to not want help. Even if that means they wash their hands and it becomes a bubble bath. You can never give too much praise for their efforts to the “me do”!! So this classroom is about self expression and lots of exciting learning. Like our motto “children are little sponges”, this classroom is absorbing everything we send their way. So don’t be surprised if you’re driving down the road and your little one says that is an octagon!

The Marvelous Mulberries have a lot of learning going on during their day. Our “Learning Up” curriculum really works great in this classroom. You will see them practicing their fine motor skills by cutting with scissors or writing, they will be learning their letters and numbers, do some terrific science experiments, and make many masterpieces to put on your refrigerator. This is just a few things they do throughout the day to help them explore and learn here with us. The Mulberries day is a perfect mix of both educational and center-based activities to help them learn.

Sprouting Spruces 3.5 to 4+

Well what can we say about our Sprouting Spruces? Well we will say their enthusiasm for learning makes this class tons of fun. This class is always learning something, even something as little as a nature walk outside becomes a lesson. We make everything fun and exciting in the learning process. The Spruces will be working on their fine motor skills by cutting, tracing & writing. We will be take what is introduced to them in the Mulberries and run with it in more detail. With our “Learning up” Philosophy the children are always happy to learn & have fun!

Our wonderful Pre-K classroom is a great jump start for Kindergarten. The Outrageous Oaks spend their day learning the Letter People program. This program helps them with basic math, reading, and writing skills. They will also become little artists, mad scientists or historians. The Outrageous Oaks will have time to discover and master many challenges throughout their day here with us.

Our Mighty Maples are very smart BIG kids. It is really wonderful to watch them grow and learn throughout the school year. Not to mention it’s amazing to see them master reading, writing, math, social studies & science through our Land of the Letter People program. In the Mighty Maples it’s not all work, they have tons of fun playing on our fabulous playground, making the next Van Gogh or maybe constructing a high rise building with our blocks. Wherever the day takes our Mighty Maples you can bet it will be a filled with learning and adventure.

Our wonderful Staff here at The Growing Tree Children’s Academy provides your child with a loving and caring environment. Their enthusiasm and creativity affords your child the opportunity to explore their curiosities, while guiding them to learn friendliness, respect and generosity.

At our Holmdel location, we have teachers that have been with the Center for over 15 years.

All Staff have their CPR and first aid training, as well as state mandated criminal background checks and fingerprinting is done for every employee. Continuing Education classes are attended by our teachers regularly.
